Why this workshop
Most students already use ChatGPT. Almost none know when to reach for something else. That is the gap this workshop closes.
You leave knowing which tool fits which task, and how to build with AI instead of just chatting with it.
What we will cover
Session 1: Use AI well
Match the tool to the task across the four you actually need: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and NotebookLM. Framed around real student work: studying, coding, projects, research, and placement prep. Includes a prompting framework you will reuse long after the session.
Session 2: Build with AI
Go from using AI to building with it. Two tools, one real project: start in Cursor, the AI-native editor, then move to Claude Code, the agentic command-line tool that plans and edits across your codebase. You will ship something working by the end.
What you walk away with
- A repeatable way to choose the right AI tool for any task
- A prompting framework you will keep using after the session
- Real hands-on time in Cursor and Claude Code
- The confidence to use all of it the next day
